Friend,
I am taking the liberty to paraphrase Isaiah 61 below; there are no better verses that sum up who we are and what we do.
Yahweh has wrapped us up and anointed us to preach GOOD NEWS. He HAS SENT us to heal the broken-hearted and to tell them YOU ARE FREE. Darkness is no longer their inheritance. We have been sent to announce GRACE, and we are honored to comfort all who are in sorrow.
For the last ten years, we have been LIVING these words, and we have been moved with compassion to carry out the ministry of Jesus to thousands. My favorite part of the last few years is that we had no idea what He was REALLY doing. He was starting a movement. We were just praying and feeding. He was healing a nation of widows, and we thought we were just facilitating twenty-person retreats. He was creating a nation full of women leaders who are free and unoffendable. We were just thinking ten communities would be changed through our resources. From the one to the thousands, He always over delivers, doesn't He!? Our minds and our hearts could not have handled the goodness had we known. But His could.
You have had a role in every story and every number that has permeated our DNA. You helped us take Isaiah 61's mandate around the world. And we're just getting started...
