"Never Alone Widows saved me from self-destructing and giving up hope for a future filled with happiness and joy. I have been surrounded by compassionate and caring widows that provide me with resources to help navigate my grief, and give me a safe space to share, find comfort and healing, and connect with others who understand my pain."

  • Our local chapters are designed to meet the needs of any age widow at any stage in her grief journey. All widows are welcome, regardless of age, stage of grief journey, or marital status.

  • No, you do not have to profess faith in Jesus Christ to attend a Local Chapter. However, all programming at Never Alone Widows is deeply rooted in faith and stands on Biblical truth.

  • The primary difference between a NAW Local Chapter and Griefshare is that our groups are designed specifically for women walking through the loss of a husband, recognizing that the grief carried by a widow is very different from other types of grief. Additionally, NAW Local Chapters provide biblically sound resources and faith-based connection.

  • Click here to find a Local Chapter in your community and contact the leader via the email address provided. If you do not receive a response within seven days, please reach out to us at hello@neveralonewidows.com.

  • Our Local Chapters typically meet monthly, and some of our Local Chapters meet twice a month. We operate on a semester schedule, meeting throughout the Spring and Fall and pausing during the summer months.

  • Each two-hour meeting offers space for community, renewed hope, and healing. You’ll join other widows for group sharing on a grief-related topic and have time to build supportive relationships. The atmosphere is informal, relaxed, and welcoming.

  • Never Alone Widows does not provide childcare for our Local Chapters. However, many of our groups choose to provide childcare during their gatherings, especially those meeting at a local church in the area.
