On behalf of the Never Alone Widows team, thank you for taking the time to complete this recommendation form on behalf of a retreat applicant. Our mission at NAW is to take widows from desperation to destiny through the healing power of Jesus Christ. As such, our retreats are biblically grounded, spiritually focused, and designed to encourage each attendee’s personal relationship with Christ, the ultimate Healer. Because of this emphasis, it is important that retreat participants have a foundational belief in Jesus Christ and the Christian faith.

At the same time, we recognize that grief can profoundly impact a person’s spiritual journey, often leading to questions, doubts, and periods of struggle. An applicant does not need to have a perfect or unwavering faith; rather, she should possess a basic foundation of belief and a willingness to remain open to God's work in her life as she navigates her healing journey. Thank you for helping us discern whether this retreat is an appropriate next step for the applicant’s spiritual and emotional growth.
